Computerized Edge to Edge Quilting Prices

The pricing for edge-to-edge computerized quilting is based on the density, scale and complexity of the design. The range is from .025 to .035 per square inch with most being .025. The higher price would apply to special requests for very dense designs.

Example: A quilt top is 50 inches x 60 inches.  50 x 60 = 3,000 x .025 = $75.00 Minimum Charge

For small quilts or projects such as pillow shams or table runners, the minimum rate for Edge to Edge quilting is $50.

Budget Friendly Options

I have a small selection of edge-to-edge designs that provide a very affordable option ($0.017 per square inch) so that everyone can have access to quilting service and get more quilt tops finished. I am able to offer these at a discounted rate as they are quilted on a larger scale, usually around a 15″ repeat. Please be sure to ask me about this option if you are interested! Batting Prices

Batting is separate. It is not included in the price per square inch for edge-to-edge quilting. Batting is charged by the yard according to the amount needed for your quilt. The current rate is .30 per linear inch.

I stock Hobbs 80/20 quilt batting but can arrange to order other types if needed or you can provide your own batting.

Thread

No extra charge for thread and bobbins! I stock a variety of thread colors in my quilting studio but mainly use neutrals that will blend well with your quilt top and quilt backing. If you want a color that pops or stands out, I can do that! For example, hot pink thread on a yellow quilt! Just ask!

Binding

There are a few options available for binding. Most customers ask me to use the scraps left over from the backing fabric. If you want a different fabric for the binding, be sure to send that to me.

I prepare the binding strips for all methods below:

• I sew the binding to the front side only. It is then ready for you to hand stitch on the back side. $.0.20 per linear inch.
• Machine binding (both front and back side) is $0.30 per linear inch.
• Hand Binding is $0.60 per inch. I machine stitch to the front and then I hand stitch on the back.

Embroidered Quilt Labels

The standard size label (6″ x 4.5″) with approximately 50 characters is $17 plus tax. If you need a larger label with additional text or embellishments, those run about $20 to $25. Complete the label request form for inquiries.
